Workpiece head
The workpiece is lapped horizontally on the base plate, with hold-down pressure/magnetism, and supported on rollers.
Automatic loader
The machine is equipped with an anthropomorphic robot for loading and unloading operations directly from two motorized conveyors. The robot is programmed entirely through our software, with very intuitive screens.
Lapping unit
The lapping unit, entirely manufactured in-house, uses two controlled axes to allow infinite centerline and groove-radius positions.
It is possible to adjust the lapping width, contact angle, and oscillation frequency according to the part to be produced.
Quick changeover
Changeover is guided by an easy-to-navigate graphical menu, with the ability to store part codes and recall them from the list.
Each part code contains all the required machining parameters, from the geometric lapping parameters to the loading/unloading data for the specific part type.
