construction of grinding machines and
superfinishing machines for ball bearings,
tracks, flanged and rolls.
Construction of sharpening machines and
grooving machines; construction of control
and
measure machines. Among its customers, there
are the main companies in the field of
bearings.
More precisely, Faletto Meccanica is
specialized in:
- Designing and construction of special
machines based on customers requests;
- Machines refurbishing, with application of
CNC control systems;
- Machines refurbishing, with installation
of new PLCs.
- Machines refurbishing, with installation
of new load/unload systems, mechanical hands,
measure and control systems;
- Construction of spare parts and tooling
for different types of working.
Moreover, we are specialized in
interventions of maintenance and assistence
also at our

FM-2M8
"Faletto Meccanica" 's project has
developed a flute grinding machine.
Using two wheels on the same spindle and through the
interpolation of the axis this machine is able to
grind straight flutes, spiral flutes and gunnose.
The grinding cycle is based on an innovative
specific software, developed on cnc siemens 840d.
The grinding wheel's profile is programmable through
a diamond roller, drived by two interpolated axis
while the piece is in process. The machine is
equipped with a pallet's outlying store.

BEFORE THE REFURBISHING /TRANSFORMATION
The machine was used for grinding the holes of rings
for bearings.
AFTER THE REFURBISHING/TRANSFORMATION
The machine is used for:
1) Grinding the holes of rings for bearings
2) Grinding holes, with the possibility to make
oscillations with amplitude and frequency which can
be controlled from the control panel and variable
between roughing and finishing.
3) Make wheels with spherical profiles, through the
interpolation of the two axis.
4) Grinding grooves, tracks and lips.
5) Wheel dressing through diamond roll, controlled
by an electric motor or, upon request, an hydraulic
motor.
